Having worked in the Northwest Territories I experienced the short dark days of winter. One could more or less learn to live with them but the redeeming feature of it all was the long, sweet & short-lived days of the northern summer.

30 years ago one retired & found a space in which to follow his innermost desires. Taking a year of solitude to slow down, in a sense to "zero," he was able to shake off "civilization" & restart his life. This has ultimately led to a point where much of his focus is on the Eternal & a reaching for this destination by way, to a significant degree, of Sissel's song.

Sometimes walking along feeling tired or frustrated I force myself to sit down, observe & absorb what's around me. It never fails to get me back on track.

One sees nothing to add here except perhaps to say he recalls the disappointment & sense of loss on that day.

I so understand the pull & charm of living close to nature, having spent a year virtually on the ground at Long Beach on the northwest coast living in a tent & small unheated cabin. A semi-feral dog adopted me & I experienced things that one would never find in an urban environment. Things hard to explain & somehow miraculous. Seems that one would have to go out & throw themselves upon the mercies of nature to go through the "door" into this other world. I hope & do believe that Sissel & her husband have found this entryway.

So beautiful voice, so beautiful music. Thank you, Sissel, that filling the world with your light. And the years pass, and you become more and more beautiful. I always send you my love energy and wish only the best~♡
